Hey guys! I am back! I'm sorry that it has been a few weeks since I posted! I will be making it up with a double post this week! Today is all about female artists. There are a lot of women in the entertainment business who have dedicated music, money, and time to women empowerment so, I wanted to spotlight them and their songs. Let's jump right in.

Don't Call me Angel ~ Lana Del Rey, Miley Cyrus, and Ariana Grande.

These three girls join together to make a fierce song for the new Charlie's Angels movie that came out this year. The song's main focus is on how women do not have to be a "good girl" like society has imposed on women for generations. It's okay to be a badass, and it is alright to be independent. This song is definitely one of my favorites.

Diamonds ~ Megan The Stallion & Normani

These two women empowering artists Collaborate on The Harley Quinn Spinoff movie Birds of Prey.
Landing the lead spot on the soundtrack. This upbeat song suggests that women don't need men by any means (well, except for that one thing lol). They talk about how women can get their hands dirty but can still look good doing it. You do not need a man to buy you diamonds. You can buy that yourself.

Level Up ~ Ciara

This woman has been a Female Power Icon since I was little and she is still going hard. Her song Level up has started a big trend on TikTok. This song is about how it is okay to make mistakes because the lessons learned from them can help you move forward. Which is such a strong message to young girls everywhere. It is nice to hear someone(other than my mom) tell us that mistakes are okay and we can grow from them! Ciara is on my list of people I'd love to interview one day she is such an inspiration. I have much to learn from her!

The Man ~ Taylor Swift

Last year Taylor Swift released The Man. This song brings the spotlight on the inequality between men and women. She talks about the double standard that is causing a lot of grief for women in all different types of industries. In the video, she talks about how further up she would be on the food chain if she was a man. It hits home for a lot of females who work hard at their jobs/schools who aren't getting the same treatment as their male colleges. It is a really inspirational song! It makes me want to work harder to help end this off-balance standard that we have created.

I hope you all are staying healthy and safe. I will be back This weekend with another post! I will be highlighting some 90's and early 2000 artists and will be doing a special interview/feature this month! so Stay Tuned. Have a great week Obssesors.
